        Buhi North Central School was formerly an annex of Buhi Central School. Its old name was Buhi Central School-Market Compound before World War II and after liberation, the building aptly called “Market Pavillion”, had been used as classroom that solved the housing needs of Buhi Central School.

                

         The aforesaid building was ravaged by typhoons the school administrator with the consent of local government officials structured make-shift classroom therein, hence, the eventual occupation by primary class.

      

          During the school year 1977-1979 the name Buhi Central School Market Compound was officially charged to Buhi North Central School. It then become complete elementary school.

       

         The school has a Cultural Hall used in different activities like programs, contests, seminars and parties. It has also a massive accomplishment of forestry and flowering plants.
